*NEW* Mwarhead's 3.31a Remix Rebirth For Win2k/XP
So Why this release? Nvidia released seperate ide and audio drivers instead of providing a unified package. Plus they provided a sleek new installer that lets you select which drivers you want to install. This package also includes the better network drivers then the official. Newer Gart drivers then in the official UDP and newer SMBus drivers that have been obtained from leaked packages.

Get it under Remixes 2k/Xp on the left.

Why not include optimized forceware drivers so i can install it all in one swipe?

As they make it a bigger download and many people use either the official or the omega drivers. Plus the fact that many people use ATI cards, like myself.

What happened to the firewire and USB drivers?
Are those still included? They aren't mentioned.

Itīs a good idea not to include display drivers.

Are these for use with the NF-1 boards as well?

USB drivers are included with SP4 of win2k and SP1 of XP and are not necassry, nvidia stopped providing them for that reason.

The firewire drivers arent necessary unless you have problems with certain digital cam corders. I will have to find them and post them as a seperate download.

These drivers are for all Nforce boards 1/2/3

Hi
one Question :

i unchs#ecked on the instalation Process the IDE Driver and my WIN2K System is running without problems until now

Thats my first week with a NForce2 System & its a fresh install of everything.

so is it recommened to Install the IDE Driver ?

(if i Unchecked the Installation of IDE, have I installed the SW IDE Driver ? or none of them Both ?. So i have anyway the Original WIN2K IDE Driver Installed ?)

newer leaked GART and SMBUS drivers than contained in 3.13a.

[link]

perhaps you can make a newer package containing these?

If its is a fresh install of 2k dover and you unchecked the ide driver, then you would be running the MS Generic driver. I recommend that everyone try the SW IDE driver as it offers better performance for most people. Many people have reported that there system just is more responsive with it installed.

If you have problems with it then you can switch it back.

what if it's not a fresh install?

If you uncheck the IDE driver it will be running the last ide driver version. If you have never installed a UDP or remix then that would be the MS Generic, if you installed it over a previous udp that you installed the SW ide in then you will be using the last SW IDE.

So if you uncheck any driver you will be using the version you had before you installed the remix.
